Tails and Trails Park, Saturday, June 6 @ 10:30 AM
Let’s meet at 10:30 AM in the Tails and Trails parking lot at 6359 134th Avenue in Saugatuck Township, northeast of “downtown” Saugatuck-Douglas.
We’ll walk a couple of miles, tidying up the trail as we go. Bring a rake, pruning shears, or an electric leaf blower, if you’re so inclined. If you know how to recognize garlic mustard or asian bittersweet, we can pull some as we walk. Wear long pants and bring work gloves if you plan to work 🙂
National Trails Day is a chance to get outdoors and give back to the trails you love. Celebrate your shared passion for the outdoors and leave the trails better than you found them.
Tails and Trails is a 40-acre park with a 5-acre fenced-in area for walking dogs. Dogs on a leash are also welcome on the trails. There is a newly paved parking lot, but there is no toilet facility.
