Full Moon Hike @ Wau-Ke-Na

Monday, October 26, 2026, 8:00 PM

three people hiking at night in the woods, full moon overhead

We will meet at 1599 Lakeshore Drive in the parking lot of the south tract of Wau-Ke-Na (William Smith Erby Preserve), 3/4 mile north of Glenn.

We’ll walk about 2 miles on flat terrain — no history talk, no environmental plea, just a nice walk in the dark!

It will be the night of the full moon, so visibility should be very good. Flashlights with red beams are preferred over headlamps (they tend to shine in people’s eyes).

Pay attention to weather conditions and dress accordingly. Leashed dogs are permitted, but at night it’s probably easier to leave the pets at home.
