On our fourth annual First Day Hike we’ll explore the trails at the River Junction Preserve. The property, which the Outdoor Discovery Network acquired in 2023, comprises 300 acres at the intersection of the Kalamazoo and Rabbit Rivers. Learn more about it (including a map) at The ODN website
Meet at 10:30 AM in the parking lot at 5403 132nd Ave. in Hamilton (a 20-minute drive from Saugatuck and Douglas).
Dress appropriately for the weather, including cold, snow, and the possibility of ice. We’ll walk about 3 miles on mainly flat trails, but there is one short hill.
