For our second annual First Day Hike, we met at Paw Paw Park in Holland (just south of Chicago Drive, not far from Zeeland). It is the site of the former Holland Country Club.
This Ottawa County Park comprises 172 acres on the Macatawa River and features a disc golf course. There five miles of trails, including a section of the Macatawa River Greenway multi-use path. Snowshoers and cross country skiers are welcome during the winter. It’s also a popular spot for walking dogs (leashes required).
