Fiftieth Hike

Thursday, 13 November 2025 @ Farview

Join us on November 13 for Radar Hill Hiking Club’s FIFTIETH HIKE. It will be at Farview Nature Park in Laketown Township, the place where we first gathered on May 20, 2021.

Meet at 10:30 am in the parking lot at 6257 138th Avenue (take 63rd St. north from the Blue Star Highway). We’ll hike approximately 2.5 miles on flat terrain.

Besides a hiking trail, the park also has a horseback riding trail and a fishing pond. The pond is the source of Silver Creek, which heads south to Saugatuck Wilds. The creek then flows into Silver Lake and the Kalamazoo River.

FARview (not “fair” view) is named for a local farm. It was also a stop on the Interurban train that ran between Saugatuck and Holland from 1898 until 1926. There’s an authentic Interurban wait station near the park entrance.
